Are the devices easy to install?
The devices are super easy to install — most customers install devices on their own within minutes. We also offer installation guides to walk you through the process, or we can connect you with a professional installer in your area. Most 12-volt installation shops (stereo shops) can also assist with installations if needed.

FleetSharp has been integrated with Jobber since 2019. Today, more than 1,000 customers leverage the FleetSharp/Jobber integration to help them manage their business. Not only does the integration allow you to see vehicle locations right on the Jobber map, it also allows you to access the ‘Bid v. Actual’ report inside of FleetSharp. This report compares your vehicles’ actual on-site time at customer locations against the scheduled appointment window.
Can I move devices from one vehicle to another when I sell or retire a vehicle and purchase another?
Yes, customers can move trackers and/or cameras from one vehicle, piece of equipment, or tool to another when they sell or retire a vehicle, asset or tool. You'll need to reassign the tracker and/or camera to the new vehicle, asset, or tool.
Can I set up Vehicle Service Reminders?
Yes, FleetSharp’s Vehicle Maintenance module lets you set up service reminders based on time, distance traveled (miles/kilometers), or hours of use. You can also create reminders for non-GPS-tracked items based on time.
If my older vehicle doesn’t have an OBDII port, which device should I buy?
If your older vehicle doesn’t have an OBD port, choose our Wired Tracker. Installation is straightforward with a simple 3-wire setup (power, ground, ignition).
